Talking with some fans/friends about the game, and it was quickly realized, a title. Elohan Chronicles is sort of the working title from previous iterations of the setting, so I figured it would transfer well enough. And Voltan Chapters, sort of the homenaje to the original short story.

So more work was done in regards to mechanics. Still needs tweaking. I’ve made tons of progress in terms of art myself, with 24 items completed in just 3 days of development time, and looking at another 5 items for today. For instance the moving platform seems to have a glitch where you fall through.
I began level design, but I was not pleased with it, so I am forcing myself to start over with it. We still haven’t decided on a room size at this stage.
We were approached by a composer, and I think it will be a nice addition to our little team. They make great original compositions, and do covers as well. Kurt and I are pretty excited to have him on board, and have someone working towards the music of the game.

I have introduced a lot of new elements to the game we look forward to implementing in the near future. Today is a short list for me, however it’s all animations, which means it will be tedious work at best.
We have discussed having pets in the game, as part of the passive interactions with nature. No decision has been made yet as to restrictions/requirements, however I feel this will make a great addition to the work. I personally think that the pet should be freed before each boss battle, and the pet will serve the purpose of resource harvesting while the player explores.
